A brawl involving between 20 and 30 people at a refugee centre in Citywest, west Dublin, has left one person hospitalised with minor injuries. The incident took place at the convention centre, with emergency services being called at around 6pm. Reports suggest that participants in the fight threw objects, including tables. No arrests have been made. Last January, three people were hospitalised following another public order incident at the same facility. Over 700 people currently reside at the campus, which has around 600 beds. The facility has been closed to new arrivals since January.
