Eidos Montréal today unveiled a brand new, spectacular TV spot that will appear ahead of the official launch of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy next week.
The trailer throws viewers into the middle of a mid-battle huddle, showing Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot discussing a dire situation and, of course, bickering about it, until they decide to move on to Plan B – an all-out , coordinated attack to the beat of the appropriate “Kickstart My Heart” by Mötley Crüe.
The same Huddle mechanic will prove essential to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy players who must overcome seemingly impossible challenges on their journey across the galaxy. In the game, players can start a Huddle during battles and choose which motivational words to bestow on the team. When chosen correctly, all Guardians receive a power-up, making it easier for them to take out their enemies while listening to one of the game’s 30 rocking music tracks.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on October 26, 2021 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PC and streaming via GeForce NOW. The Cloud Version will be released on October 26 in some regions for Nintendo Switch.
