Brand Marketing coordinator – Women and Sport in Canada
Are you passionate about the power of sport and dedicated to equity, diversity, and inclusion? Women and Sport in Canada is seeking a full-time, permanent Brand Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic and remote team.
About the Role:
as Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in elevating our brand and engaging communities across Canada. This position requires a strong understanding of event planning and execution, coupled with excellent writen and oral communication skills. A genuine connection to sport – through participation,training,volunteering,or personal interest – is essential. We believe in the transformative power of sport to build community, confidence, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Planning and executing marketing events.
* Developing and delivering compelling written and oral communications.
* Contributing to community engagement initiatives.
* applying a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIA) lens to all brand-related activities.
Solid assets (Preferred Qualifications):

* Bilingualism: Fluency in both French and English.
* Inclusive Marketing: Knowledge of inclusive marketing practices and the ability to resonate with diverse communities.
* DEIA Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging through professional, volunteer, or lived experience.
* DEIA Submission: Ability to integrate a DEIA approach into brand valuation, narrative communication, and community engagement.
* Sector Experience: Professional or volunteer experience in the non-profit, charity, or sporting sector.
* Gender Equity in sport: A strong understanding of gender equity in sport and the ability to effectively communicate these concepts.
* Digital Proficiency: Experience with digital collaboration tools such as CRM systems, Canva, Microsoft365, and Zoom (or equivalents).
* Remote team Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
* Location: Preference given to candidates located in Toronto.
Details:
* Position Type: Permanent,Full-Time,Remote (with flexible schedules between 9 a.m.and 5 p.m. based on time zone).
* In-Person Requirements: Occasional participation in in-person meetings and events.
* Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually, plus full health coverage. Salary will be determined based on candidate experience.
* Travel: requires travel within Canada at least four times per year for team meetings, relationship management, and project implementation.
