When the fire broke out, Sturm Sabine raged. Within a short time the whole hamlet in Bauma ZH was on fire. Seven people lost their entire existence on February 10th.
Now there is good news: enough money has been raised for the reconstruction. The municipality’s donation account has meanwhile received CHF 750,000, as the municipality council wrote in a statement. The reconstruction of the hamlet will take at least two to three years.

«Return to your paradise as soon as possible»
Mayor Andreas Sudler is happy about the great sympathy. This solidarity would give those affected strength and confidence. «The people from the lower Wolfsberg look ahead. They wish to be able to return to their paradise paradise as soon as possible. »

Neighbors and friends helped wherever they could. Offered a roof over your head. For the animals too. The farm of Peter Lötscher (57) is only a few hundred meters from the burned-down hamlet. He took in some animals that survived. (ymh)
