Thus, Stanton came to the attention of the brilliant psychiatrist Dr. Lilith Ritter (Cate Blanchett), who became an accomplice in his biggest and most dangerous blow to date, aimed at the unscrupulous industrialist Ezra Grindel (Richard Jenkins). What Stanton doesn’t realize is that he crosses an invisible border, and that if you anger certain people, the world quickly becomes a cramped and hostile place, and the price to pay is appalling.
