During questioning on Saturday morning, the man is said to have said that he had no intention of harming or intimidating anyone, and that he always knew that the weapon was harmless.
– The man in his teens has acknowledged the facts, and will return to the question of criminal guilt. He has now graduated, as we have no reason to keep him anymore, says Jan Roar Gidske in the police.
The police have also made a few more seizures, and that it will now be assessed whether these are relevant to the case. They will not say which fittings are in question.
– I tore the weapon out of his hands
One of the witnesses at the scene was Endre Krogsæter, who himself was threatened with the weapon.

– It was a weapon that looked real, so I perceived it as a real situation, he says to NRK.
He says that there was a party on the premises, and that he asked them to turn down the volume before he went to bed in the caravan.
– Then I hear a car stop outside here, and then I hear a charge grip on a weapon. Then I got out of the carriage, and there is a person with a weapon. The person in question aimed the weapon at me and pulled away, he says.
– Then he leaned into the car in a conversation with the driver of the car, then I snuck up on him from behind and then I tore the weapon out of his hands.
When the police arrived, he handed over the weapon to them.
– When the police arrived, they asked questions about a weapon and then I pointed in the direction where the weapon was facing the guardrail. Then they began to examine the weapon.
Police confirm that the suspect was unarmed when he was arrested.
