Leaders Arsenal won 3-2 away to Tottenham Hotspur, while Bournemouth, without the suspended Kerkez Milos, collected three points in front of their home crowd with a 3-0 victory over Brighton on matchday 35 of the English Football Championship on Sunday. Defending champions Manchester City won 2-0 at home against relegation-fighting Nottingham Forest.
The Gunners triumphed in such a way that they already had a three-goal advantage at the break, from where the rival closed 3-2. Arsenal did not lose to Spurs in their fourth consecutive North London derby.
This time, Bournemouth could not count on Kerkez, who was suspended for three matches following his sending off against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the Hungarian national team was able to defeat its central rival, Brighton, as host, without a defender, which has thus been without a win in the Premier League for six rounds.
With the success of the Manchester team, they are one point behind Arsenal, the leader of the list, but they have played one less game than them. Josep Guardiola’s team has not found a winner in the Premier League for 19 rounds.
