Blitz access Marvin Friedrich (26/came from Union Berlin) trained with Borussia for the first time on Wednesday. After a session in the weight room in the morning, we went out on the lawn in the afternoon.

Friedrich is considered a real guy. If things don’t go well for the team (or for him personally), it can become uncomfortable. That’s exactly why he, the Leitwolf, should bring a different mentality to the team than it was in the first half of the season.

Friedrich (1.93 m) is supposed to bring the Gladbach game back to Euro level with his headball strength, both with his own and with opposing standards – there it was extremely stuck so far.
