Borussia Dortmund ran up against Youssoufa Moukoko in the last two Bundesliga games. The 16-year-old replaced the injured Erling Haaland, but suffered an injury himself in his second start. In the DFB Cup against Braunschweig (2-0) he had to sit out on Tuesday.
As the “Ruhr Nachrichten” recently reported, Moukoko’s injury is said to be a “slight injury”. BVB has not yet given any official information about the condition of his youngster.
However, he now reports himself via his social channels. Moukoko announced via “Snapchat” that he was doing “outstanding”. Unfortunately, he only had to take a break for a week. He also posts a photo of his right leg that is in a splint.
A question mark must therefore be placed behind the attacker’s use in the first game in the new year. After all, Dortmund will continue next Sunday (January 3rd) in the Bundesliga against VfL Wolfsburg.
