Börse Express – Aktien New York Conclusion: Dow remains on record course

NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The US stock markets have ushered in the new week with further record highs. Unexpectedly weak US economic data, however, kept earnings within tight limits on Monday. Sales of new houses in June fell by 6.6 percent, for the third time in a row. Analysts had expected an increase of 3.5 percent.

Der Dow Jones Industrial climbed another high at 35,150 points and closed with an increase of 0.24 percent at 35,144.31 points. Also the S&P 500
rose to another high and ultimately gained 0.24 percent to 4422.32 points. The Nasdaq 100 also hit a record high. The technology-heavy market barometer ended 0.09 percent higher at 15 125.95 meters. / Edh / he
