Born in the ambulance

In February, the former «Paradise Hotel» participants Tea Kristine Broholm (22) and Fredrik Norum (22) revealed that they were expecting their first child together.

Broholm had a term on 24 August, but became a mother on Saturday – two days ahead of time.

She reveals this herself on Instagram, where she has posted a picture that partly shows the newborn son.

“Finally, the tax we have been waiting for for nine months has come into the world. Matheo was a bit busy, but everything is fine with everyone. Now we are looking forward to starting the new everyday life “, she writes.

– We are very proud and look forward to starting the new everyday life with little man. Even though it can present challenges, we will roll up our sleeves and make a super effort to ensure that the little one gets it as good as possible, she tells Se og Hør.

Did not reach the hospital

Broholm says that there are probably not many who had imagined that two “Paradise Hotel” profiles would stay together for two years, and have a child together.

Despite the fact that the couple are now proud parents, the birth was a dramatic one. As the couple lives in Hitra, it is a long way to the nearest hospital. When the birth started, they realized that it was going to go away, so they called 113 to be picked up by ambulance.

– At first, the midwife, who came in another, oncoming ambulance, thought that we had a good time and wanted to reach the hospital, but during the trip it suddenly got much worse and the baby wanted out, the 22-year-old explains.

– So then it was just giving birth in the ambulance, which at first made me very scared and anxious, but I had good and skilled people around me who made it all go very well, she continues.

Met at the reality hotel

The cohabitant came driving at full speed after and just managed to catch the last minutes of the birth.

– He also got to cut the umbilical cord which was very nice in these surroundings. But when the placenta came out, it became a little too much, and he had to go out to get some fresh air, she says with a laugh.

It all went well, but Broholm is aware that it is an experience she only wants once.

– Everything is just fine with all of us, but I hope this was the first and last time I give birth in an ambulance!

She and her boyfriend have in recent months shared frequent updates about the pregnancy, to their followers on Instagram and YouTube.

Broholm and Norum met during the eleventh season of “Paradise Hotel”, which was broadcast last year. In the beginning, they had a long-distance relationship when they lived in Hitra and Oslo, respectively. In November last year, however, Norum moved in with his girlfriend, and since then they have been cohabiting.
