He was born on Wednesday. The British Prime Minister and his fiancée announced the birth of their child. A little boy named Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, in tribute to their grandfathers and to the doctors who treated the leader of the coronavirus.
“Wilfred as Boris ‘grandfather, Lawrie as my grandfather, Nicholas as Dr. Nick Price and Dr. Nick Hart – the two doctors who saved Boris’ life last month,” said Carrie Symonds, 32 years old, on Instagram.
The baby was born Wednesday morning, two days after the return to business of Boris Johnson, 55, cured of Covid-19 disease. Diagnosed positive in late March, he had been hospitalized for a week in early April and had spent three nights in intensive care.
The boy is the first child of Carrie Symonds, whose pregnancy was announced in late February. She had participated in Boris Johnson’s re-election campaign for mayor of London before becoming head of communications for the Conservative Party, and now works for an association for the protection of the oceans.
Boris Johnson already has four children with his second wife, from whom he divorced. He recognized a fifth child born of an extra marital union and the press lent him another illegitimate child.
