What was supposed to be a pleasant camping trip turned into a disaster for Boris Johnson. He had to tear down his tent and return home after his camping site in Scotland was leaked.

The Prime Minister had planned a holiday in Scotland with his fiancé Carrie Symonds and their newborn baby Wilfred. Because it was time for a break after a hectic six months with, among other things, the corona virus and Brexit. It was their first vacation since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The virus also hit Johnson, he became seriously ill at the end of April and even had to be ventilated.
But online photos were shared of his remote cottage and tent. Bodyguards said it was not safe for the family to stay there. And so they flew back home after three nights. According to British newspaper The Sun, the couple had camped in the garden with the baby but it was not safe enough. “The tent can be spotted from too far away by a sniper.”
