Booker T Reveals ’Madden‘ as his All-Time favorite Video Game
Wrestling legend Booker T has revealed a lifelong passion for video games, naming the Madden franchise as his favorite. the five-time WCW champion shared his gaming preferences in a recent interview with Esports Insider, detailing how his play shifts with the seasons and highlighting his excitement about contributing voiceover work to upcoming titles.
Beyond simply enjoying games as a pastime,Booker T’s enthusiasm reflects the growing intersection of sports entertainment and the gaming world. “Heck yeah, man, I’m a huge gamer,” booker T stated. “I’ve got my switch locked in right now, on the television. But it’s US Open time right now,so I’m playing tennis. I kinda go with the flow - like with football season, I’m playing Madden, baseball season I’m playing MLB, it’s one of those types of things with me.” He also enjoys gaming with his son, creating a shared hobby and bonding experience.
While Madden holds a special place in his heart, Booker T expressed recent captivation with Ghost of Tsushima. “Has to be ‘Madden’, man. ‘Madden’ is just such a dynamic game.It’s just numbers, pretty much realy, but it’s such a dynamic game,” he explained. He was equally impressed by the detail and storytelling in Ghost of Tsushima, adding, “ghost has just taken me somewhere like I’ve never gone before. It’s so freaking detailed. You wonder, how can the human brain put something like that together?”
Currently, Booker T is actively involved in voiceover work for video games, a role he described as “an honour” and something he is “pretty stoked about.” He anticipates beginning work on new projects immediately following the interview.
