A batch of 370,000 Sputnik V anticovid vaccines, produced by the Russian laboratory Gamaleya, arrived in Bolivia this Sunday to complete the two-dose immunization schedule in various regions of the South American country, the government reported.
“With this we have already completed for all those who have completed 90 days from the first dose and those who will be serving 90 days more or less until mid-October,” said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Benjamin Blanco.
The cargo arrived on a commercial flight on the BOA state line and the doses were immediately distributed to the different departments, the Ministry of Health reported.
According to this portfolio, Bolivia received 1.2 million from the first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine and 712,460 from the second. There are 522,540 doses to come.
