Bogumiła Wander is a legendary announcer of Telewizja Polska, which has been inactive for several years now. Bogumiła Wander’s husband is the yacht captain Krzysztof Baranowski, who was the first Pole to circumnavigate the globe twice. She met the journalist at the end of the 1970s. Already then there was a spark between these two, but they did not give up their relationships at that time. It wasn’t until 2000 that they moved in together, and five years later they got married. Currently, the journalist, due to Alzheimer’s disease, is staying in a specialist center in Konstancin near Warsaw.
Bogumiła Wander cannot see her husband
Until recently, my husband was visiting Bogumiła Wander regularly at the center, however, everything changed a few months ago when the coronavirus pandemic broke out. For obvious reasons, the visits of patients were limited, which is why Krzysztof Baranowski cannot see his wife, which he himself told in “Fakt”.
My wife has been under good medical care for the second year. Before the pandemic, I visited her regularly in the center, but unfortunately the pandemic separated us and I cannot appear there – admitted Bogumiła Wander’s husband.
Unfortunately, the spouses are also unable to talk to each other on the phone. Krzysztof Baranowski relies only on doctors who inform him about his wife’s health condition.
I do not have such an option, but I talk to the director of the center and I am kept informed about Bogusia’s health. I also get photos of her regularly. Everything is fine with my wife – he added in an interview with the tabloid.
We hope that Bogumiła Wander will be able to see her husband again soon.
