Dilan Çıtak, daughter of İbrahim Tatlıses, faces inquiry after allegedly driving her vehicle towards police officers attempting to stop her.
The incident occurred when police attempted to conduct a routine license and vehicle registration check.Çıtak, reportedly driving in a safety lane, initially tried to evade the officers. When she failed to comply with a “stop” command, she is alleged to have driven her vehicle at a police officer.
In response,officers reportedly drew their weapons and fired a warning shot into the air to halt her vehicle. Çıtak, after attempting to move away from another vehicle, then reportedly turned back and began a live broadcast on her TikTok account. During the broadcast, she made comments referencing her surname and questioning the officers’ actions, stating, “Is this goodwill now? If I was Fatma, would he do this?” an investigation has since been launched into the singer’s actions.
This is not the first reported incident involving Çıtak and authorities. Previously, she was involved in an altercation on a plane where she reportedly threatened a cabin crew member who had warned her, allegedly saying, “I eat you coach.”
