Bocholt – Fraudsters robbed a Bocholt woman of her money with the WhatsApp scam. As reported by the police, the scammers pretended to be the woman’s children on Thursday, presumably with a new number.
They got back in touch on Friday and asked the woman from Bocholt to make two transfers. One of the two transfers could still be cancelled, police continue to report. She recommends contacting the affected relative in case of such messages and clarifying the matter.
