Blood donation: vital emergency

Thursday 21 July

The French Blood Establishment (EFS) informs us that attendance at mobile blood drives by blood donors is down sharply. Every donation counts: take 1 hour to save 3 lives!

Next collection

The next collection takes place at the village hall, rue du Sophora in Rumilly:

  • Thursday July 21 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

To make an appointment

1- Check your ability to donate

Preparing for your blood donation by testing your eligibility before making an appointment is important… Find the test on the EFS website.

2- Make an appointment online

Since the start of the health crisis, you must make an appointment online one week before:

> I make an appointment now!

Click, book… It’s simple and easy! Donating by appointment makes it possible to reduce the waiting time and better manage the care of each donor while respecting the distancing measures.

3- The day of the meeting

Bring your ID (it is now mandatory) and a pen to complete your questionnaire.

Also remember to stay hydrated throughout the day.

COVID 19 info

All precautionary measures are implemented on collections to avoid the risk of transmission of the virus:

  • Wearing a mask is compulsory for all (cloth mask not allowed)
  • Reinforced distancing and hygiene measures.

Important :
People who have shown symptoms of Covid-19 must wait 28 days after the disappearance of symptoms to donate blood. On the other hand, donors vaccinated against Covid 19 can donate their blood immediately after vaccination, without any delay.

The City of Rumilly supports the EFS and is involved in favor of blood donation.
