Montauban to Host Blood Drive wiht Live Music & Refreshments

Montauban, Tarn-et-Garonne – Residents of Montauban will have the opportunity⁢ to donate blood while enjoying live music and⁣ refreshments at the historic former college from Thursday, ‍September 18th to ​Saturday, September 20th,⁤ 2025. The event, titled “My⁣ Blood for Others,” aims to collect donations vital for‍ patient ⁣care throughout the region.

Organized by the French Blood​ Establishment (EFS) in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Montauban and Montauban Passion,⁢ and the Association of Volunteer Blood‍ donors of Montauban, ​the three-day drive seeks 330 donors.The collection‌ will take place within ⁤the emblematic walls of the old college, a significant landmark in the city ​of ⁤Ingres. “To ‌be ‌able to meet the needs of patients, 330 donors are expected during this‌ collection,” stated the Grand ⁢Montauban tourist office.

Donors can⁤ visit during the following hours: Thursday, September 18th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, September 19th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, September 20th from ‍11 a.m. to 1 p.m.⁢ and 3 p.m.to 6 p.m. Appointments ‌are not required, but are welcome.

Adding to the event’s appeal, musical performances will be⁤ provided by artists⁤ Phil Fasan, Mam’zelle, and Bat Smiles. Donors will also be treated to a collation provided by⁤ master restaurateur Valérie Pons and the mauranes⁣ bakery.

To be eligible to donate,‌ individuals must be between 18 and 70 years old, in good health,​ weigh at least 50 kg, and have not eaten prior to donation while remaining well-hydrated.
