Blocking the Arrest of Fugitive Drugs, 11 People Become Suspects Page all

FIELD, KOMPAS.com – Police Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, named 11 people as suspects who were suspected of obstructing the arrest of fugitive drugs by the Deli Serdang Regency National Narcotics Agency (BNNK).

They are also suspects in the BNNK car vandalism case.

Head of the Deli Serdang Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Commissioner M Firdaus, said that of the 11 suspects, only 2 were arrested.

Meanwhile, 9 other people are fugitives.

According to Firdaus, the suspects were divided into 2 categories.

First, blocking the arrest of five drug fugitives.

They have the initials IL, HS, UD, AH, and R.

The IL is a hamlet head who admits to obstructing BNNK officers.

The five of them were charged with Article 214 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

“All of them are Rugemuk citizens. Except for the hamlet head with the initials IL, the other 4 people are still DPOs, ”said Firdaus when he was confirmed, Friday (7/8/2020).

This case occurred during the arrest of a suspect with the initials IP by BNNK Deli Serdang in Rugemuk Village, Pantai Labu District, Wednesday (5/8/2020), at around 10:00 WIB.

At the house, the officers ransacked the suspect’s house.

But at the same time, residents gathered and tried to block the Deli Serdang BNNK officers.

“DPOs who abuse narcotics are forcibly seized by the surrounding community,” said Firdaus.

Furthermore, feeling unfavorable and threatened, BNNK Deli Serdang officers chose to leave the location and head for the official vehicle.

However, when they were about to enter the official vehicle, the AN perpetrator and the others destroyed the BNNK car.

AN and others pelted the car with stones and gravel.
