Blizzard Watch Announces Legion Remix Release Date, Midnight Alpha details, and More
Blizzard Entertainment revealed key dates for upcoming World of Warcraft content this week, including the October 7 release of Legion Remix and the start of the Midnight alpha on October 2. Player housing is slated to arrive in WoW with patch 11.2.7 before the end of the year.
These announcements come as World of Warcraft prepares for it’s next expansion, Midnight, and continues to update its current content.The Midnight alpha will initially be invite-only, focusing on influencers, press, and friends and family before expanding to those who have pre-ordered the expansion. Alongside the alpha, Blizzard detailed a phased rollout of content, and announced significant PvP updates, including a new 40v40 battleground and a permanent Comp Stomp mode.
The Legion Remix update will launch on October 7. Player housing is scheduled for patch 11.2.7, arriving before the year’s end. The Midnight alpha begins October 2, preceded by a developer Q&A on October 1.
