At the age of nine, she joined the Kühn Children’s Choir and a year later the newly founded Children’s Choir of the Czechoslovak Radio, whose choirmaster was music teacher and leading theorist in the field of children’s singing Bohumil Kulínský. Between 1950 and 1954 she studied at the Pedagogical Gymnasium for the education of national school teachers.

Later, with her son Bohumil Kulínský, she founded a private choral singing school at Bambini di Praga, where she taught choral singing. The choir Bambini di Praga ended its activity in 2011 after almost 40 years. It was damaged by the affair of his former choirmaster Bohumil Kulínský Jr., who was convicted of abusing minor members of the ensemble.
