Black Pumas llevó “Colors” al show de Stephen Colbert

Black Pumas He burst onto the music scene in 2019 with the release of his self-titled debut album, which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Months later, the Austin band released the deluxe version of the same album, with which they again garnered nominations for this year’s Grammy: Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Root Music Performance; these last two categories for the single “Colors“.

It was precisely that song that was chosen to perform during his visit to the television program of Stephen Colbert, broadcast last night Tuesday, January 19. You can see it at the end of this note.

The band is also presenting a doublet of singles they recorded for Spotify: a new version of “Colors”, with the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble as guest, and a cover of “Sugar Man” by Rodriguez. You can listen to them in Spotify.
