The Black Lives Matter demonstration, which would be held on Sunday at the Lammermarkt in Leiden, is being moved to a different location due to the many registrations so far. No alternative location is known yet.
So many people have already registered that the organization does not dare to go to the square at Molen de Valk. An alternative location is currently being searched.
On the square near the mill there was room for a maximum of a thousand demonstrators, each 1.5 meters away. On the Facebook page Over a thousand people have already indicated that they will come from the demonstration and another 527 people report that they are considering doing so.
The organization does not yet know whether the time must also be adjusted as a result of the relocation of the demonstration. An emergency meeting is currently being held.
