Bisons Advance to National Semifinals: Harding Faces Kutztown

KUTZTOWN,Pa.- The Harding⁤ University Bisons (14-0), seeded no.3 in the NCAA Division II Playoffs,‌ will face No. 2​ Kutztown University (14-0) in the national semifinals on Saturday, Dec. 13. The ⁢matchup marks the first-ever contest between the champions⁤ of Super Region 4 (Harding) and Super Region 1 (Kutztown).

This semifinal appearance represents a critically important milestone for the Harding football program, continuing a historic season fueled by the nation’s top-ranked rushing offence‌ and ‍scoring defense. A victory would propel the Bisons to the NCAA division II National Championship game on December 20 at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas, against either No. 1 Ferris ⁢State⁢ or ⁤no.4 ⁤Newberry.

The game‌ will be played at‌ Andre Reed Stadium in‌ Kutztown, Pennsylvania. kutztown advanced​ to the semifinals by defeating Frostburg State in the Super Region 1 final, claiming ⁣the Pennsylvania ​State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship. Harding secured‍ its place after a ⁣record-breaking 34-28 victory over ‌UT Permian Basin.

kickoff time is currently TBA and will be announced Sunday. the game will be broadcast ⁤on ESPN+. HardingSports.com and the university’s⁢ social media channels⁢ will release ticket and ‍travel details for fans as soon as it is indeed​ available from‌ kutztown University.
