KUTZTOWN,Pa.- The Harding University Bisons (14-0), seeded no.3 in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, will face No. 2 Kutztown University (14-0) in the national semifinals on Saturday, Dec. 13. The matchup marks the first-ever contest between the champions of Super Region 4 (Harding) and Super Region 1 (Kutztown).
This semifinal appearance represents a critically important milestone for the Harding football program, continuing a historic season fueled by the nation’s top-ranked rushing offence and scoring defense. A victory would propel the Bisons to the NCAA division II National Championship game on December 20 at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas, against either No. 1 Ferris State or no.4 Newberry.
The game will be played at Andre Reed Stadium in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. kutztown advanced to the semifinals by defeating Frostburg State in the Super Region 1 final, claiming the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship. Harding secured its place after a record-breaking 34-28 victory over UT Permian Basin.
