Biscuit of his own dough: plumber wrote counsel an invoice of 159 euros for 10 minutes of work | Linda Akkermans

Ooo, how I would have loved to see the lawyer’s face when he himself once an invoice of 159 euros received ten minutes of work. And I would rather have heard live how this counsel for plumber Mohammed Talbi was given a taste of his own medicine when Mr. the lawyer angrily rang the bell with him. Because why had Talbi charged so much for that job? Those are amounts for a lawyer, not for a plumber.

Talbi heard it elite story full of disdain calmly and said the only correct thing: why can a lawyer charge such amounts if he writes a letter with all kinds of expensive words in about ten minutes and an installer not?

This snippet was recently in a TV show Backlight, and I was reminded of that when I read the story this week about the screaming staff shortages in technology, logistics, construction, ICT, retail and healthcare. In order to do something about this, all MBO students, teachers and preferably parents must be made acquainted with these professions, according to the Brabant branch of the employers’ organization VNO-NCW.
