Birds in the engine returned a Lufthansa plane from the runway at Sofia Airport

A plane of the German airline Lufthansa, which was supposed to take off at 7:00 am from Terminal 2 at Sofia Airport, was forced to return from the runway because of birds that got into the engine.

The pilot explained to the passengers that three birds had hit the plane. There was a damaged fin.

All passengers are diverted to other flights.

According to websites, our tennis players Alexander Donski and Victoria Tomova were among the passengers.
