The law aims to improve visa procedures

Foreigners and stateless persons must submit their biometric data when applying for a visa. The law was signed by the President of Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons on the Submission of Biometric Data by Foreigners and Stateless Persons for Visa Application No. 1328-IX. The law was passed by parliament on March 4, 2021, informs press service of the Office of the President.

This document is aimed at improving visa procedures and introducing biometric Ukrainian visas for citizens of foreign states and stateless persons.

“In particular, according to the law, foreigners and stateless persons are obliged to submit their biometric data in the manner prescribed by the Cabinet of Ministers during visa processing, unless otherwise provided by law. Failure to submit biometric data by a foreigner is defined as an additional ground for refusing to grant him a Ukrainian visa.” , – said in the message of the press service

It is noted that the law signed by the head of state comes into force on the day following the day of its publication, and comes into force six months after it comes into force.

Formerly Vladimir Zelensky announced economic passport… Every child born in Ukraine will “accumulate” funds from the use of mineral resources in his bank account and then spend the money on his higher education.

Prior to this, Zelensky called extremely important laws for Ukraine… These are, in particular, the laws necessary to complete land reform, decentralization, and overcoming corruption.
