Thirty-year-old Cink confirmed his excellent form in the Olympic season, after fourth places from Albstadt and Nové Město na Moravě he reached the podium in the third part of the World Championships. The member of the Kross Orlen team reached the podium for the first time since the race in Vallnord, Andorra in 2016. After today, he has three second positions and one third among the elite.

Cink fought for the first victory of his career, just like in Friday’s short race with Flückiger, with whom he rode for a long time in pairs. The Swiss started the Czech biker in the fifth of six laps and created a decisive lead, which was 14 seconds in the finish. Newcomer Anton Cooper finished third with a gap of 45 seconds.

Carapaz maintained the lead in the Around Switzerland race in the time trial

Thanks to two second places in Leogang, Zinc moved to the second place in the World Cup, which leads Flückiger by 140 points. Other Czech representatives did not succeed in the race, the best of them Jan Škarnitzl took 48th position.

The women’s series is still fearlessly ruled by the Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte, who won the third race of the season with a huge lead 1:48 minutes over the Swedish Jenny Rissveds. The best Czech Jitka Čábelická was twenty-four.

The Olympic general will be procured on the first weekend of July in a race in Les Gets, France.
