The six partial legislative elections organized on Sunday, September 20 saw the six LREM candidates swept away. Very severely defeated in municipal, the party has nothing to expect from the senatorial elections on Sunday, September 27. In view of the state of the troops and the slack in progress, LREM will not have the capacity to present candidates in all the cantons to the departmental ones. And he will present himself to the regional in alliance with the Modem and Agir.

Already at work in the Assembly, effective during the 2019 Europeans, this strategy supposes the cancellation of LREM in favor of a presidential majority enlarged. If Emmanuel Macron chooses to rely on her to represent himself in 2022, La République en Marche, his own movement, would be relegated to the rank of simple cash drawer.
