Big Bang’s Seungri,’gangster mobilization’ indicted for special assault teacher

Seungri notified the fact to former Yuri Holdings CEO In-seok Yoo when he was drinking with friends at a bar in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at the end of December 2015, and the former CEO Yu called a gangster he had known to the victims. It is said to have been a threat.

The military prosecutors determined that Seungri mobilized a gangster by conspiring with former representative Yoo.

Seungri’s side denied the allegations and decided to submit an opinion later.

As a result, the number of suspicions of victory that had been tried on eight charges, including mediating prostitution against foreign investors, embezzling 500 million won worth of funds from the club’Burning Sun’, and overseas expeditions worth 2 billion won, increased to nine.

Previously, Seungri was expected to be prosecuted with the former representative of Yu and to be tried in the Seoul Central District Court, but when he enlisted in the military in March last year, the case was transferred to the military court.

In the first trial in December last year, former CEO Yoo was sentenced to 1 year and 8 months in prison and 3 years probation.
