“After the announcement that people from the EU would be able to travel to the USA without any complications, the demand for US flights has more than doubled. We can clearly see that our guests have a lot of catching up to do to travel to North America again – and there is probably no more popular destination in the USA than New York. The city that never sleeps represents everything that people have had to do without for months. We are already looking forward to bringing family and friends back together and to satisfy the wanderlust of our customers ”, says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor.
Condor already flies four times a week to Seattle on the west coast of the USA, from where the partner Alaska Airlines enables convenient onward travel to over 30 destinations such as Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco or Hawaii. “With the flights to New York, we are expanding our portfolio and also enable our guests from there to easily continue their journey along the entire east coast to Florida as well as inland to over 40 destinations – almost unlimited possibilities for the land of unlimited possibilities,” adds Ralf Teckentrup.
Canada is again particularly easy to reach for Condor guests: after the opening of the national borders for fully vaccinated travelers from the EU, Condor launched non-stop flights to Toronto and Halifax at short notice from the beginning of September. From there, guests can also reach ten other destinations in Canada with Condor’s partner WestJet.
For entry into the USA, a complete vaccination with WHO-certified vaccine is necessary as well as a negative test certificate, which must not be older than 72 hours. Fully vaccinated people have been entering Canada without any additional requirements since the beginning of September.
