WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will visit a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Washington, DC, this Tuesday afternoon to highlight the recent approval of vaccines for children under 5 years.
Following the visit, Biden will deliver remarks at the White House on the long-awaited milestone.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Saturday approved the use of COVID-19 vaccines for the nation’s youngest children following authorization by the Food and Drug Administration, a year and a half after adults begin receiving vaccinations.
