(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, NOV 4 – Joe Biden has pledged to re-enter the Paris climate agreement on the first day of his presidency, if he is elected.
The US formally exited it on November 4, after the termination decided by Donald Trump. “Today the Trump administration has officially abandoned the Paris climate agreement. And in exactly 77 days, a Biden administration will re-enter it,” he tweeted, referring to the technical deadlines for the readmission of the agreement.
