Last weekend for the next ASV a democrat was elected president Joe Biden. This was the third time he had run for office as an influential superpower. The previous two attempts – in 1988 and 2008 – proved to be a complete failure, but this year the political veteran finally fulfilled a 32-year-old dream.
Addressing supporters after the victory election, Biden emphasized the need for unity in American society and the need to leave out sharp rhetoric and other elements that promote polarization. “This is the time to heal America,” said the next U.S. leader.
The divided society, as well as the challenges posed by the pandemic, suggest that the Baiden administration in the United States will need to heal, both literally and figuratively.

The keys to the White House will end in Baiden’s pocket at a time when a massive health and economic crisis has taken over the United States alongside a divided society. The Covid-19 pandemic has claimed the lives of more than 240,000 Americans. More than ten million people in the United States are also infected with the virus. In both of these figures, the United States ranks first in the world.
