Great start from Hauser
Hauser scored five goals straight and started the second of their three laps as the leader. Standing, she had to reload once and handed over to Innerhofer as sixth. This also performed perfectly when lying down. Standing the last disc just didn’t want to fall and the Salzburg player had to go to the penalty loop after three spare rounds. She finished in eleventh place.
Leitner showed a flawless performance like his predecessors at the first shooting, but then had to reload three times and handed over to Landertinger in tenth place. The Upper Austrian had a spare load lying down and thus fell out of the top ten. Then he remained standing without mistakes.
Elevation of feelings
“I have decided to surrender at the top. Fortunately, I managed that, 14 seconds behind are acceptable. It was a great race, ”said Hauser in an ORF interview. Innerhofer was naturally not satisfied: “Basically I had a good race until the last shot, I felt so safe. A mistake can happen, but then I became shaky with the reloads. I’m sorry for the team. “
Innerhofer does not have to fear allegations from teammate Leitner: “It’s a shame about the penalty loop, but as a team you win and lose together. Our goal was a fifth place. Of course I tried to catch up because there was only full throttle. It’s a shame about the last shot, but it worked with two reloads. “
Final runner Landertinger was satisfied with his personal World Cup start: “I was not 100 percent run, but I was able to run a good train. I’m also happy with a reload when it comes to shooting. Unfortunately we didn’t reach our goal, the top five, but the eighth place is bearable. ”
