The Bharat Bandh, announced by trade unions to protest against the hike in fuel prices, GST and Eve Bill, has begun. The Traders and Industrialists Coordinating Committee has informed that the bandh is not applicable in Kerala. Transport organizations from Kerala will also not participate.
The Confederation of All India Traders has called for a bandh till 8 pm. The All India Transport Welfare Association has also announced its support. Eight crore people from 40,000 organizations will be part of the strike, organizers said. Markets across the country will stagnate.
