Endocrinologist and nutritionist Fatma Dzguyeva revealed the consequences of vitamin D deficiency.
She noted that this substance is necessary at any age and benefits the entire human body.
Dzguyeva explained in an interview with the newspaper “Ergumente e Facti”, its deficiency entails an increased risk of cancer (prostate, breast and intestine, as well as leukemia and other types of tumors) and also increases the risk of developing cancer again. “
And she continued, it is almost impossible to diagnose a vitamin deficiency with external symptoms in this case, because its signs are not specific and can indicate many other problems. Therefore, to identify a vitamin D deficiency, the specialist recommended a blood test to determine the level of 25 (OH D3).
