Beware … 7 factors that lead to noncommunicable diseases

The official page of the Egyptian Ministry of Health has published an infographic to educate citizens about the causes of noncommunicable diseases, so that they can not do it:

The most prominent of these reasons were:

1- Physical inactivity and lack of activity

2- Improper nutrition

3- Alcohol consumption

4- High blood pressure

5- Tobacco consumption

6- Obesity

7- Heredity

Noncommunicable diseases, or as they are sometimes called non-communicable diseases, are cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, and chronic chest disease.

It is the main cause of premature death and chronic disabilities globally, and rates of non-communicable diseases have increased as a result of an increase in four main risk factors: tobacco consumption (smoking), lack of physical activity, hazardous alcohol consumption, and unhealthy nutrition.

In Egypt, non-communicable diseases are the main cause of death and are responsible for more than 80% of the total deaths.

Heart and vascular diseases are responsible for most deaths at 46%, followed by cancer at 14%, chronic chest diseases at 4% and diabetes at 1%.
