The researcher predicts that over the next year, between 40 and 70% of the world’s population will be infected with Covid-19. But, he says, that doesn’t mean that everyone will have serious consequences.
“It is likely that many will suffer from a mild illness or be asymptomatic,” he said. It’s like flu that is dangerous for people with chronic health conditions or the elderly. In most cases, medical care is unnecessary, the magazine said.
In addition, as the specialist has indicated, the coronavirus cannot be “brought under control”.

More than 2,700 dead in China
The epidemic that broke out in central China in December has already peaked in the country, where it has infected some 78,000 people, more than 2,700 of whom have died, Chinese authorities said on Wednesday (February 26th).
