For BETTERHOMES, the largest independent Swiss real estate agent, 2021 was the 16th and most successful business year to date since it was founded. BETTERHOMES was able to bring its transaction volume to a new record level in its home market of Switzerland in 2021 with 3,006 placements. In Germany, BETTERHOMES also posted a new record result in 2021 with 1,687 referrals.
In addition to a favorable market environment, BETTERHOMES sees its pioneering role, which it has exercised since 2005, with the hybrid business model between the latest technology and local expertise, as a decisive success driver. The BETTERHOMES Group is owner-managed, financially independent and profitable – and relies on organic growth. Cyrill Lanz – founder and CEO of the BETTERHOMES Group – not only recognizes the successes but also the challenges: “Due to the dried up market, all brokerage companies are in a challenging position to win new brokerage contracts, so it is particularly important to focus on them. In the first half of 2022, BETTERHOMES now wants to introduce a new technology platform for its broker and customer software. This is intended to create the basis for expanding its own market position in the DACH region and for further expansion within Europe in the second half of 2022.
