Unfavorable weather conditions and heavy rains last Saturday led the Luxembourg Railways (CFL) to interrupt rail traffic between Luxembourg and Thionville for the second time in ten days. In question, the flooding of the management post of Bettembourg, nerve center of the signals and switches, which manages the traffic.
Since Saturday, the technical teams have worked to restore the facilities. On Monday July 26, tests, which proved to be conclusive, were carried out to ensure the functioning of the infrastructures.

The gradual restoration of rail traffic to and from Thionville will take place from Tuesday July 27 at 12:30 p.m.
