Best session weight since 2006

Mexico City- The dollar ended the day at 24.31 pesos on sale and 23.38 on purchase, a drop of 88 cents, the best session for the national currency since February 7, 2006.

On that date, the peso gained 95 cents.

In interbank transactions, the US currency decreased 98.80 cents, to sell at 23.9880 units, with which the peso also posted its best wholesale performance since March 10, 1995, when the dollar lost 1.27 pesos.

This Wednesday, investors were attentive to the approval of the fiscal package agreed yesterday in the United States Congress to face the economic damage of the coronavirus.
