Bert Konterman returns to the KNVB | Football

sport">In Zeist, the current trainer of the Eredivisie club will be appointed as coach of Orange under 19. Konterman has been the interim trainer of PEC Zwolle since February of this year.

sport">“I really like the position of head coach at PEC Zwolle,” says Konterman. “It makes me realize once again that I want to stand on my own two feet and that I do not currently aspire to the position of assistant trainer. I think the offer of the KNVB to become a trainer of Orange under 19 fits perfectly in my street. It offers me a wonderful challenge to work with the country’s greatest talents. ”

sport">“It is very nice that Bert was willing to step in in February to bring this season to a successful end together with the players and staff,” says technical manager Mike Willems, who indicates that he understands the choice of the coach.
