Former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone became a father for the fourth time at the age of 89. “We have a son named Ace. I’m so proud,” said the Briton to the Swiss “Blick”. Ecclestone’s wife Fabiana Flosi, 44, gave birth to the child on Wednesday in Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland. Flosi and the child are said to be doing well.

Ecclestone, who is already a great-grandfather, has three adult daughters: Deborah, 65, Tamara, 36, and Petra, 32. Apparently everything went very quickly with Ace. “The birth was over in 25 minutes. Thank God,” said Ecclestone.
Ecclestone has been married to Brazilian Flosi since 2012 and also lives with her on a farm near São Paulo. He turns 90 at the end of October.
The multimillionaire, fired in early 2017 after 40 years as a Formula 1 promoter, does not want to see his child in a racing car. Most recently, Ecclestone said at Sport1 that his son should rather be a “businessman”.
