Bernhard Prosser accompanies the world’s largest brewery group at the start of Austria

After 25 years in the Egger private brewery, Prosser advises global market leader Anheuser-Busch InBev on entering the market. The Starkenberger brewery from Tyrol also relies on its expertise.

Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) is strengthening its commitment in Austria as part of a Europe-wide expansion strategy. The company has had its own office in Vienna since spring 2020 and bundles the marketing and sales of the Bud, Corona, Stella Artois, Leffe, Spaten and Franciscan brands in its own company. Bernhard Prosser, who specializes in leading global and regional beer brands with his consulting company, supports the expansion in Germany in the expansion team of AB InBev.

The listed stock corporation will work with local partners to ensure that the brands and sales models are present in retail and catering. The Tyrolean Starkenberger brewery also relies on the expertise of Posser, who has 27 years of trading and beer experience. “A global brand and a local champion: The best of both worlds is a great combination, crowned by the Bud brand – the king of beers. Advancing the Austrian market with Anheuser-Busch InBev will be an exciting match with a first-class and motivated team”, says Prosser about his new job.

“It is great to have a recognized beer specialist in the team with Bernhard and to shape the success of our brands in Austria together with him. His profound know-how, the hands-on mentality and the excellent network will quickly bring us closer to our common goals “comments AB-InBev-Austria managing director Lennart Kübler. “Under Bernhard’s leadership, Egger has grown into the largest domestic private brewery. This entrepreneurial spirit is a valuable support for our growth in Austria.” –
