In an interview broadcast this Sunday, December 27 on the small screen, the 77-year-old businessman who suffers from double cancer, took stock of his state of health. Very weakened, the former president of Olympique de Marseille said he was “at the worst point” he has “known for three years.”
Bernard Tapie was the subject of a separate treatment: “It is all the more unfortunate that from January to June […] thanks to an experimental treatment, my tumors had shrunk by 70%, said the septuagenarian. And then I didn’t feel well at all at the start of the summer. We had a CT scan and there 20% of new tumors and my old ones had doubled. “
“No reason to despair”
On the advice of his doctors, the Marseillais therefore experimented with a new free treatment in Belgium. “We tried a new one on immunotherapy, also advised by Gustave Roussy. We tried something,” said the former minister. Same story, however: Bernard Tapie carried out new scans: his tumors have “doubled in size again”.
