Vermont Woman arrested for Alleged Embezzlement, Identity theft, and Fraud
Duxbury, VT – July 29, 2024 – A Waterbury, Vermont woman has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses including embezzlement, identity theft, false personation, and false pretenses, according to a Vermont State Police news release.
Leighann Ravelin, 44, is accused of defrauding Tyler Fisk, 41, and his business, Go Time Property Management, located in Duxbury, Vermont. Teh Vermont State Police initiated an examination after being contacted by Fisk on July 29th, 2024, regarding suspected embezzlement.
The investigation revealed that ravelin allegedly obtained a loan intended for Go Time Property Management between the end of 2020 and the present. further details regarding the amount of the loan and the specifics of the alleged fraudulent activity have not yet been released.
