Benfica has officially announced a deal with Liverpool related Darwin Nunez. The Reds issued an “advance payment” of Rp. 1.15 trillion.
“At midnight Monday at 0:44 am WIB, Benfica announced to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) that it has reached an agreement with Liverpool FC for the transfer of Darwin Nunez for 75 million euros,” said a Benfica statement.
“Benfica also provides information that there is an additional clause in this sale, so that the total nominal sale can reach 100 million euros,” he continued.

The agreement was reached after Liverpool sporting director Julian Ward flew to Lisbon to negotiate payment terms. Because, Liverpool first deal about a six-year contract with Nunez.
Thus, Nunez and his agent can fly to Liverpool this Monday (13/6/2022) to carry out a medical test to complete his move.
“Furthermore, this transfer agreement is just waiting for the player to sign a contract with Liverpool FC.”
Nunez will be Liverpool’s second signing of the season after Fabio Carvalho, as well as breaking the club transfer record previously held by Virgil van Dijk of £75 million.
If the clause is met then Nunez will reach a value of 85.5 million pounds (Rp 1.7 T). Darwin Nunez has played for Benfica since 2020 with 48 goals from 85 appearances.
